The rules: Every week Dodsy and The Sage go head-to-head predicting the scores. 3 points for a correct result, 10 points for a perfect score prediction.

Fulham v Manchester United

Dodsy: Can’t see Fulham knocking United’s recent momentum. Fulham 0 – 3 Manchester United.

The Sage: Ole is gunnar continue writing his near-perfect job application. Fulham 0 – 2 Manchester United.

Crystal Palace v West Ham United

Dodsy: Tough one to call. Both teams score but no one secures the 3 points. Crystal Palace 2 – 2 West Ham United.

The Sage: Buoyed by the confidence of their point against the champions elect, West Ham to secure an away point. Crystal Palace 1 – 1 West Ham United.

Huddersfield v Arsenal

Dodsy: Arsenal always scare me away from home but I think they have too much firepower for Huddersfield. Huddersfield 1 – 3 Arsenal.

The Sage: Arsenal’s turn for a bye this weekHuddersfield 0-2 Arsenal.

Liverpool v Bournemouth

Dodsy: Liverpool look wobbly at the moment but at home, when they need the points, I’m backing them for the win. Liverpool 1-0 Bournemouth.

The Sage: Inexplicably loaning out their only fit right-back might explain Liverpool’s recent de’Clyne’. Loan rules will preclude Nathanial’s inclusion for Bournemouth and playing a pretty, footballing side is probably just what Liverpool need right now. Liverpool 3-0 Bournemouth.

Southampton v Cardiff City

Dodsy: Nothing happening here. Bore draw. Southampton 0-0 Cardiff City.

The Sage: Home advantage tips the scales in the South coast team’s favour. Southampton 1-0 Cardiff City.

Watford v Everton

Dodsy: Everton have got some decent players and had flashes but I’m going for the home team to sneak a victory. Watford 2-1 Everton.

The Sage: Everton’s current form is proving that all that glitters is not Silva. More misery for Marco. Watford 2-1 Everton.

Brighton v Burnley

Dodsy: Gut feeling on this one. Burnley to find their defensive spirit of old and steal a win. Brighton 0-1 Burnley.

The Sage: Brighton’s home form steals the day. Brighton 2-1 Burnley.

Tottenham v Leicester

Dodsy: Spurs have a way of finding victories in games like this, even without Harry Kane. Tottenham 2-1 Leicester.

The Sage: Son 2-0 Leicester. Tottenham 2-0 Leicester.

Manchester City v Chelsea

Dodsy: On paper this is an easy win for City, given form. But Chelsea play well against City and I think it will be tight. Manchester City 3-2 Chelsea.

The Sage: Sarri won’t have any problem motivating his troops for this one. Creditable away draw for Chelsea. Manchester City 2-2 Chelsea.

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Newcastle

Dodsy: Could see this going either way but going for a home win. Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-0 Newcastle.

The Sage: It won’t be easy but Rafa will dig out a draw. Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-1 Newcastle.
